Physical Characteristics

Adult males, known as bucks, typically weigh around 100 pounds and stand about 3 feet tall at the shoulder. They do not have antlers like moose.

Habitat

Moose are primarily found in the northern regions of North America, Europe, and Asia. They prefer to inhabit boreal and mixed forests near bodies of water, such as lakes and rivers. Moose are excellent swimmers and are often seen wading through lakes to feed on aquatic plants. Pampas deer, on the other hand, are native to South America, specifically the grasslands of Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Paraguay. They prefer open grassy plains and savannas where they can graze on grasses and shrubs. Pampas deer are well-adapted to living in open habitats and are known for their agility and speed.

Diet

Moose are herbivores and primarily feed on leaves, twigs, bark, and aquatic plants. They are known to consume a large quantity of food each day to sustain their massive size. Moose have a specialized digestive system that allows them to extract nutrients from tough plant material. Pampas deer, on the other hand, are also herbivores but have a more selective diet. Behavior
