Background

Darth Plagueis, also known as Darth Plagueis the Wise, was a Sith Lord who lived before the events of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Darth Sidious, also known as Emperor Palpatine, was Plagueis' apprentice and eventually surpassed him in power.
